libgnome-menu-3-0 software package provides GNOME implementation of the freedesktop menu specification, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgnome-menu-3-0
libgnome-menu-3-0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgnome-menu-3-0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgnome-menu-3-0 *
You will get with libgnome-menu-3-0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
